Recently, Samaira was invited as the Chief Guest at the valedictory function of National Library Week and Children's Day celebrations 2025 at T.S. Central State Library, Sector 17, Chandigarh. The event included a student declamation contest on the theme, "Artificial Intelligence may be smart, but books make us wise."
Speaking warmly to the young audience, Samaira shared her deep connection with reading. She said, "I still buy books and read them and do not prefer e-books because I like the smell of pages," a line that touched everyone and highlighted her genuine love for books. She also reminded students that AI is a helpful tool that enhances our work, but real wisdom and understanding still come from reading and learning.

Samaira also addressed a crucial issue-drug awareness. She guided students from various schools about the dangers of substance abuse and encouraged them to choose a healthy and focused path. A painting competition on the theme of anti-drugs added colour to the programme, and Samaira presented prizes to the winners while appreciating their creativity and strong messages.
A heartfelt moment during the event was the inauguration of a special section and book exhibition dedicated to Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, commemorating his 350th martyrdom day. Samaira carried out the ceremony with great respect, honouring the legacy of Guru Sahib.
