She shared her thoughts on the similarities between Bali and India, highlighting the warmth and respect she felt everywhere.

Exploring Bali's Wonders

"I love exploring different countries and cultures and well, this is one place which truly has so much resemblance to India. Right from the traditions to the culture, there's so much love and respect everywhere around. I have had a brilliant experience here. From exploring the cute little Warung cafes, temples, & waterfalls to scuba diving in Nusa Penida, Tirta Gangga Royal palace, green fields and what not, I have had the opportunity to enjoy every bit of it," Alankrita said.

The actress also mentioned her enjoyment of the 'Bali swing' experience and visiting Mount Batur. She was particularly impressed by the clear skies that allowed her to see constellations like Sagittarius, Centaurus, and Ursa Major. Alankrita expressed admiration for how Balinese people treat animals with respect, especially monkeys considered sacred in their culture.

Cultural Connections

In Balinese Hinduism, monkeys are revered as temple guardians. Alankrita noted how similar this is to India's reverence for monkeys as Bajrangbali. "It fills my heart with joy and happiness to see them like this," she remarked about witnessing animals enjoying freedom even in holy places like temples.

The connection between Bali and Indian mythology is evident through artistic representations of Ramayan across the island. Alankrita observed that Bali isn't just an island but a global symbol of peace and balance. "The name carries the essence of what the island offers," she added.
