Anurag Kashyap Remarks On Brahmins: Anurag Kashyap is all over the internet after his recent remarks on Brahmins that offended many commoners and celebrities. Anurag's comment came after Phule, which revolves around caste based prejudices, was repeatedly delayed by the censor board. The filmmaker slammed the board for coming with issues on a film based on sensitive topic revolving around the lives of social reformer Jyotiba and Savitribai Phule after which an user commented "Brahmins tumhare baap hain..." The filmmaker made his controversial comment replying, "Brahmin pe main mootoonga.. koi problem? (I will urinate on Brahmins.. any problem?"

Well, right after Kashyap's comment, an FIR has been registered against the filmmaker by Advocate Ashutosh Dubey, sharing the report, he wrote, "I have officially submitted a complaint to @MumbaiPolice seeking registration of an FIR against @anuragkashyap72 for his derogatory and casteist remark against the Brahmin community "Brahmin pe main mootoonga .. koi problem? Such hate speech cannot be tolerated in a civil society. The law must take its course."

But that's not all, netizens fume over the remark and slammed the actor for remarks. Some of them even demanded Kashyap to be arrested. Bigg Boss 18 fame Tajinder Bagga, is also a politician urged CM Devendra Fadnavis, "I request @MumbaiPolice to file an FIR against Anurag Kashyap and arrest him. Mentally unstable individuals like him are a threat to society and should not be ignored."

Anurag Kashyap apologizes taking to Instagram after receiving threats for his family, he wrote, "This is my apology, not for my post, but for that one line taken out of context and the brewing hatred. No action or speech is worth your daughter, family, friends and colleagues getting rape and death threats from the kingpins of sanskar. So, what has been said cannot be taken back - and I won't take it back. But if you want to abuse someone, direct it at me. My family has neither said anything nor do they ever. speak out (sic)."
