'Bhed Bharam' Star Pranav Misshra Recalls A Supernatural Encounter In A Jaipur Hospital!

After leading the 2023 blockbuster The Kerala Story, which grossed over ₹303 crores and became one of the highest-grossing films of the year, Pranav Misshra has reunited with director-producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah for an exciting new project, Bhed Bharam, currently airing on Doordarshan. The series has been receiving an overwhelming response from viewers, achieving record-breaking TRPs and becoming the most-watched series of its time.

Produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and Aashin Shah, this gripping crime thriller is based on the popular Gujarati novel of the same name by Hari Kishan Mehta. The show combines elements of crime, horror, and the supernatural, with Pranav taking on a challenging lead role that has captivated audiences.

Reflecting on a real-life supernatural experience, Pranav shared a chilling story from 2007:
"My mother was admitted to Sawai Man Singh Hospital in Jaipur. Around 3 a.m., I had to collect some reports from the emergency lab. The path to the lab involved crossing a 150-200-meter passage between the emergency lab and the Neuro unit. As I walked through, I heard voices-what sounded like doctors talking and laughing."

"When I turned left towards the emergency lab, the voices grew louder. There was a slope ahead, typically used to transport patients on stretchers. Strangely, as I moved closer, the voices seemed to rise floor by floor. But when I finally reached the emergency lab, the noise abruptly stopped.

"The next morning, I mentioned this to the security guards. They told me such supernatural occurrences were common in the hospital. Some people have even claimed to see a group of doctors chatting in empty halls. Because of these incidents, a temple was built near the hospital," Pranav revealed.

"Ever since I have started shooting Bhed Bharam, my mother keeps joking and pulling pranks on me, sometimes on video call asking who is seated in my car behind me when there is nobody" adds Pranav.

Apart from The Kerala Story, Pranav has proven his versatility as an actor, notably portraying the courageous revolutionary freedom fighter Azimullah Khan in Doordarshan's Swaraaj last year. With several intriguing projects in the pipeline, fans can expect more exciting announcements from the talented star soon.
