Bhool Chuk Maaf Critics' Review: Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi starrer Bhool Chuk Maaf is the latest release in Bollywood and it is making headlines post its release. Directed by Karan Sharma and produced by Dinesh Vijan, the movie is sci-fi romantic comedy with the concept of time loop. While Bhool Chuk Maaf marks Rajkummar's first collaboration with Wamiqa, it also stars Seema Pahwa, Sanjay Mishra, Zakir Hussain, Raghubir Yadav and Ishtiyak Khan in supporting roles and the trailer did grand eyeballs for the lead pair's fresh chemistry.

Given the massive success of Stree 2 and Rajkummar's box office trajectory in 2024, the makers were undoubtedly pinning high hopes on the film. However, Bhool Chuk Maaf has failed to get the welcome the team was hoping as it has opened to quite disappointing views. As Bhool Chuk Maaf has finally hit the screens, several critics took to social media to share their reviews and called it a disappointing release. In fact, Filmibeat's critic Aakash Kumar gave Bhool Chuk Maaf 2.5 stars and called the film a dull ride which 'struggles to deliver a solid impact due to its slow pace and underdeveloped plot.'

Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, film critic Sumit Kadel called Bhool Chuk Maaf is unbearable and gave the film 1.5 stars. "Bhool Chuk Maaf is an extremely weak film. The writing and direction is so poor that although the film tries to be funny throughout, it never actually manages to make you laugh. The dialogues are outdated, and the concept lacks strength. #RajkummarRao has delivered the exact same kind of performance that he did in Stree franchise , and in that 'Vicky-Vidya' video. You'll feel while watching that you've seen this kind of film 15-20 times before - the same characters, similar plot, and repetitive performances," he tweeted.

Another reviewer called Bhool Chuk Maaf poor and boring and tweeted, "The Nibba-Nibbi love story, expressions and conversations between #RajkummarRao and #WamiqaGabbi are highly irritating and take away all the sensitivity out from an important Social topic. A film with literally zero Laughs. Boring". On the other hand, other critics called Bhool Chuk Maaf a disaster and 'time loop of misogyny'.

Meanwhile, Bhool Chuk Maag is expected to have a slow start at the box office. In an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat, film business expert Rohit Jaiswal stated that the movie is expected to mint Rs 3-3.5 crores on the opening day.

On the other hand, Wamiqa spoke about working with Rajkummar during a recent chat with IMDb's 'Ask Each Other Anything' segment and told him, "Working with you was one of my best experiences. I don't know what advice to give you. You've already learned all the lessons in your life and that shows like your empathetic nature, your kindness, your openness, it's a pleasure working with you, Raj".
