Bhool Chuk Maaf X Review: Fresh off a stellar year, Rajkummar Rao is back to charm audiences with Bhool Chuk Maaf, a whimsical comedy-drama marking his first 2024 release. Teaming up with Wamiqa Gabbi in their debut collaboration, Bhool Chuk Maaf boasts a powerhouse supporting cast including Sanjay Mishra, Zakir Hussain, Raghubir Yadav, and Seema Pahwa. Helmed by director Karan Sharma and produced by Dinesh Vijan, the trailer of this offbeat love story promised laughter with a twist.

To note, Bhool Chuk Maaf revolves around Ranjan (Rao), a lovestruck groom-to-be, and his fiancée Titli (Gabbi) as their wedding plans spiral into chaos when Ranjan gets trapped in a surreal time loop-reliving his haldi ceremony over and over. From its stellar ensemble to its intriguing trailer, Bhool Chuk Maaf has been generating steady buzz since its announcement. Taking to the micro-blogging site Twitter, a user wrote, "A hilarious and super emotional ride #Bhoolchukmaaf is a well made film. The simple story is the biggest strength of the film #WamiqaGabbi is good but @RajkummarRao is outstanding as usual. Maddock has another winner up their sleeves. Watch it and enjoy. Brilliant".

On the other hand, film critic Sumit Kadel called the film unbearable and tweeted, "Bhool Chuk Maaf is an extremely weak film. The writing and direction is so poor that although the film tries to be funny throughout, it never actually manages to make you laugh. The dialogues are outdated, and the concept lacks strength"

Meanwhile, Wamiqa revealed that she felt connected with her character Titli and told PTI, "I am so grateful that 'Bhool Chuk Maaf' came to me. I enjoyed playing Titli, it was so much fun. I think many girls are going to relate to her".

She also spoke about working with Rajkummar during a recent chat with IMDb's 'Ask Each Other Anything' segment and told him, "Working with you was one of my best experiences. I don't know what advice to give you. You've already learned all the lessons in your life and that shows like your empathetic nature, your kindness, your openness, it's a pleasure working with you, Raj".
