Recently, content creator Anupriya Kapur took to her Instagram story and revealed the shocking truth of content creators paying a mammoth to walk the Cannes red carpet. She shared an email screenshot in which someone proposed a 'package' for influencers to pay for attending Cannes, promising an opportunity to gain visibility and networking approach. In the screenshot, the person offered a package with the price range starting from Rs 8 lakhs (for mid-level experience) and going up to Rs 12 lakhs (for elite experience).
She captioned her story, "Just in case you think "Influencers" get "invited" to Cannes and International fashion shows. They have to pay for it and there is nothing wrong in it, but then they pretend they didn't pay and try to act like they are representing the country. (sic)"
