Kapadia chose a blue blouse and a red asymmetrical skirt ensemble by designer Payal Khandwala.

As per Festival de Cannes' official website, for the Grand Théâtre Lumière gala screenings taking place around 7 and 10 p.m., which are attended by the artistic teams, evening wear (long dress, tuxedo) is required. According to their new rules, outfits that promote nudity are prohibited, citing decency standards.
