Celina Jaitly Seeks Privacy For Her Children As Domestic Violence Case Against Husband Peter Haag Intensifies
Cel Jaitly, amidst her domestic violence case against Peter Haag, appeals for media privacy regarding her children. She describes emotional trauma and manipulative behaviour during their marriage, highlighting the impact on her family during this challenging time.

Actress and former Miss India, Cel Jaitly, has made an emotional plea to the media, requesting privacy for her children amidst her legal battle. She posted on Instagram, describing herself as "a mother with a broken heart" and urged journalists not to include her children's photographs in reports about her legal issues.
Her appeal comes as her domestic violence case against her estranged husband, Peter Haag, is being heard in a Mumbai court. The documents submitted reveal disturbing allegations, portraying their marriage as one filled with trauma and conflict. She accuses Haag of emotional, physical, sexual, and verbal abuse, stating she left Austria fearing for her safety.
Allegations Against Peter Haag
Celina's petition provides a detailed account of years of alleged abuse spanning across countries including Italy, Dubai, Singapore, and Austria. She mentions instances of fury, reckless behaviour during her pregnancy, and relentless verbal abuse. One allegation highlights that Haag mocked her appearance, allegedly comparing her to a maid.
The petition further describes physical violence she claims to have endured even during pregnancy and postpartum. Celina recounts being pushed out of their apartment soon after her C-section. She also alleges financial control, stating she was coerced into abandoning her acting career, leading to substantial professional setbacks, and that her finances were accessed without her consent.
Financial and Emotional Strain
Celina details the emotional vulnerability she felt in 2017, after losing both her parents and one of her newborn twins. She alleges that Haag exploited this period to manipulate her into transferring property rights to their Mumbai flat. Another distressing claim is that her access to her children became restricted or supervised once the legal disputes began.
Celina and Peter married in 2010 and have three sons: Winston and Viraaj, born in 2012, and Arthur, born in 2017. Tragically, their other newborn son, Shamsher, passed away shortly after birth. Her lawyer states she eventually fled Austria with only the clothes on her back, desperate to escape what she describes as an unsafe and isolating environment.
As the case unfolds, Peter Haag has not publicly commented on the accusations. Celina's plea underscores her desire to shield her children from the public eye during this tumultuous time.
