Aamir expressed his admiration for Rajinikanth, stating that he accepted the role without even hearing the script, purely out of respect and love for the superstar.

The film features a stellar cast including Soubin Shahir, Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, and Upendra alongside Rajinikanth in the lead role. The producers previously released a teaser showcasing Rajinikanth battling villains in a factory setting. This monochrome teaser with gold highlights has generated significant excitement among fans eagerly anticipating this collaboration.

Aamir Khan's Admiration for Rajinikanth

During an interaction with Zoom, Aamir Khan shared his enthusiasm about working with Rajinikanth. Responding to a fan's query about his cameo, he said, "I really enjoyed doing it. I am big fan of Rajini sir…huge fan. I have a lot of love and respect for Rajini sir. So, I did not even hear the script. When Lokesh told me that it is a Rajini sir's movie and that he wanted me to do a cameo, I said, 'Done. I am doing it. Whatever it is, I am doing it.'" His admiration for Rajinikanth was evident as he spoke about this opportunity.

Coolie is set to release globally in 2025 in both standard and IMAX formats. The film's music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, with cinematography by Girish Gangadharan and editing by Philomin Raj. The anticipation surrounding this project continues to build as fans await its release.
