1. Please tell us about your film Bollywood Rebound.

Bollywood Rebound is a cross-cultural romantic comedy about a Hollywood actress at a career low point who finds herself in the heart of Mumbai's vibrant film industry. It's a fish-out-of-water story layered with heart, humor, and rediscovery.

As a creative producer, I was drawn to the idea of exploring cultural contrasts-not in a cliché way, but with authenticity and affection. The film shows how stepping into a world completely different from your own can become a path to healing, reinvention, and personal growth. It's both playful and deeply personal, blending the color and chaos of Bollywood with the emotional arcs of Western indie cinema.

2. As a Creative Director, what inspired you to create Bollywood Rebound?

Answer - Bollywood Rebound was born from that curiosity. The idea of a Hollywood actress navigating the chaotic beauty of Bollywood became a metaphor for transformation, rediscovery, and resilience. What inspired me most was the opportunity to explore themes of reinvention across borders-especially through the lens of someone who feels displaced in their own success. I've seen this mirrored in diaspora communities, artists, and even myself. By blending the vibrant spectacle and emotional depth of Bollywood with the sharp wit and structure of Western indie cinema, Bollywood Rebound aims to be both a cross-cultural comedy and a universal story of self-renewal. We're approaching the fusion deliberately-not by parodying either world, but by honoring the best of both. From music to casting to narrative rhythm, it's a film that invites both cultures to dance together without stepping on each other's toes.
