Deva Ending Explained: Shahid Kapoor's latest outing 'Deva' has already created a 'bhasad' among the fans. From trailer to songs and promotional campaigns, the cop actioner generated a strong pre-release buzz ahead of its grand theatrical premiere. Amid high expectations, the Rosshan Andrrews directorial has hit big screens today (Friday, Jan 31). With fans flocking to theatres, the film seems to be eying for a solid opening weekend.

Deva Cast, Story, OTT Streaming Updates

Deva, which marks Rosshan Andrrews' directorial debut in Bollywood, sees Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde romancing each other for the first time. Featuring Shahid as the rebellious cop Dev Ambre, the cop action-thriller also sees Pavail Gulati and Kubbra Sait in important roles.

As shown in the poster, Netflix has acquired the post theatrical streaming rights of the film, which means Deva will have its OTT premiere on Netflix after its theatrical run.

The story of Deva revolves around Dev, an aggressive and bold cop with anger issues, who ets into the rebellious mode to unravel the mystery of the murder of his friend and honest police officer Rohan (played by Pavail).

Deva Ending Explained

While Deva opened to mostly positive reviews from fans and critics alike, it was the last 30 minutes of the film which blew us over with a shocking twist. The climax of the film not only took us by surprise but also proved the true potential of Shahid as an actor.

In the second half of the film, Shahid's character Dev is determined to catch the real culprit, the man who murdered Rohan. In the climax, Dev did manage to unravel the truth and catch the murderer. Will There Be Deva Sequel?

As per fans and twitter pages, the ending scene of Deva sparks the possibility of having a sequel.

However, there is no official confirmation or announcement whether it will have a part 2 or not.
