Deva Trailer First Review: After winning hearts with his chocolate boy avatar in 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya' last year, Shahid Kapoor is set to set the screens on fire with his 'angry young man' look in his next 'Deva'. Helmed by popular Malayalam filmmaker Rosshan Andrrews, the teaser of Deva, dropped a few days ago, witnessed Shahid unleashing his Bachchan avatar which left the audience impressed.

Directed by Rosshan Andrrews and produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur & Umesh KR Bansal along with Malvika Khatri, Deva features Shahid Kapoor as the fierce and fearless cop, exceeding the expectations of fans. In the teaser, Shahid donned his cop uniform and kept everyone on toes with his swag, high-octane action sequences and his killer dance moves.

Deva teaser was dropped on Sunday (January 5) at the Carter Road Ampitheatre in Bandra, Mumbai. The 52-second-video clip, which is now trending #9 on YouTube, has already crossed 11 million views YouTube. Touted to be an action-thriller, Shahid will be seen romancing Pooja Hegde in this film. The movie also stars Pavail Gulati, Kubbra Sait and Pravessh Rana in important roles.

Deva reportedly revolves around the story of a fearless cop who uncovers a web of lies and deceit while investigating a case.

Deva Trailer First Review Out

While fans are eagerly awaiting to catch more glimpse of the Shahid Kapoor starrer, journalist and film critic Umair Sandhu shared his exclusive review of Deva trailer.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Umair heaped praises on Deva trailer and wrote, "Just saw POWER PACKED & Paisa Vasool Final Cut Trailer of #Deva !!! #ShahidKapoor is BACKKKK with Bang 💥 (sic)"

As per a tweet shared by Filmy View, the theatrical trailer of Deva, with a duration of 2 min 22 secs, has received a 'UA 16+' rating from the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification).

Deva Release Date

Amid high anticipation, Shahid Kapoor-Pooja Hegde starrer 'Deva' is scheduled to hit cinemas on 31st January 2025.
