Dharmendra Death: In one of the heartbreaking news from Bollywood, legendary actor Dharmendra passed away on November 24. He breathed his last at the age of 89 just two weeks ahead of his 90th birthday. For the uninitiated, the news of Dharmendra's unfortunate demise came in 14 days after he was discharged from the hospital. Needless to say, the entire country has been mourning the demise of the legendary actor and the social media is abuzz with condolence messages. For the uninitiated, Dharmendra is survived by wives Prakash Kaur and Hema Malini, and kids Ajeeta, Vijeta, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol.
For the uninitiated, Dharmendra was hospitalised after he complained of breathlessness and old age issues. A report published in Money Control stated that his long lasting heart problems led to his demise. As the news of Dharmendra's demise surfaced, celebs were seen rushing to his residence and crematorium to pay their last respects to Bollywood's He-Man. Amid this, Dharmendra's last co-star shared her last pic with him and penned a heartfelt note for her.

To note, Dharmendra's last release happened to be the 2024 release Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. Soon after Dharmendra's demise, Kriti Sanon shared a beautiful pic with the late actor and wrote, "It's the end of an Era! But you'll stay alive not only in all the incredible work you've done Dharam Ji. but also in the warmth and kindness you carried in your aura. Your smile, warmth, your zest for life and poetry, the love with which you put a hand on my head and blessed me every time I interacted with you.... I'll carry in my heart forever. Rest in peace Legend!!"

Meanwhile, Dharmendra will be seen for the last time on the big screen posthumously this year with the release of Ikkis on Christmas 2025.
