Dharmendra Death: The year 2025 has been quite hard on Bollywood and there has been no second thoughts about it. After losing gems like Pankaj Dheer, Satish Shah and Asrani in October 2025, the Indian film industry lost another gem today. We are talking about veteran actor Dharmendra. Also known as the He-Man of Bollywood breathed his last in his Mumbai residence. He was 89. The news of Dharmendra's demise came just a few days after the demise of Pankaj Dheer, Satish Shah and Asrani. Needless to say, the news of Dharmendra's demise has sent a wave of shock and grief among fans and families.

To note, the news of Dharmendra's demise came just days before his 90th birthday. According to media reports, he wasn't keeping well and had limited his public appearances since a while. As the nation is mourning Dharmendra's demise, he is survived by his first wife Prakash Kaur, sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, second wife Hema Malini and daughters Esha Deol and Ahana Deol. Ever since the news of Dharmendra's unfortunate demise surfaced, the social media is abuzz with tweets and posts of condolences. Earlier, celebs like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Govinda Ameesha Patel, Esha Deol etc were seen reaching Breach Candy Hospital to meet Dharmendra who was undergoing treatment there.

For the uninitiated, Dharmendra was last seen in Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon starrer Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya which had released in 2024. To note, Dharmendra's last onscreen appearance will be in Sriram Raghavan directorial Ikkis starring Agastya Nanda in the lead. The movie is a war drama and is a biopic on the life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal and centered around the Battle of Basantar during the 1971 India Pakistan War. Ikkis is scheduled to release on Christmas this year.
