Hema Malini and Esha Deol had confirmed that Dharmendra has been recovering and in a stable condition in the hospital. Interestingly, Hema Malini, Dharmendra's wife, addressed the rumours about his death. She confirmed that the 89-year-old actor is responding well to treatment. Expressing her disappointment over the false news circulating on social media, she tweeted, "What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? This is being extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy."

Sunny Deol's Team Gives New Update About Dharmendra's Health

And now, hours after Dharmendra's death news had surfaced, his elder son Sunny Deol's team has confirmed that the Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani actor is responding to the treatment. In a statement, the team stated, "Sir is recovering and responding to treatment, let's all pray for his good health and long life".

Meanwhile, Indian Film & Television Directors' Association (IFTDA) also issued a statement regarding Dharmendra's death hoax. "It is deeply distressing to see false news being spread about our beloved legend, Dharmendra Ji. Such baseless rumours are not only irresponsible but also deeply insensitive. They cause unnecessary pain to his family, friends, and millions of fans who hold him in the highest regard," the statement read.
