Diljit Dosanjh's Exit From No Entry 2 CONFIRMED
Nearly two decades after the original release, No Entry director Anees Bazmee and producer Boney Kapoor joined hands once again with its highly-anticipated sequel No Entry 2.
As per previous reports, Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, and Diljit Dosanjh were roped in for the roles of the male leads. However, recent buzz around Diljit's alleged exit from the sequel came as a shock to everyone.
During a recent conversation with News18, director Anees Bazmee confirmed Diljit Dosanjh's exit from No Entry, shattering everyone's hearts. "I'm just happy that the film is getting made. There's no bigger joy than that. At this point, woh hi ho raha hai jo upar waala chahta hai. I work with a lot of earnestness and I leave the rest to god. It's not like the films that I've only worked with actors who've been my first choices on the films I've done so far, (sic)" the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 & 3 director stated.
Real Reason Why Diljit Dosanjh Walked Out Of No Entry 2
As soon as reports of Diljit Dosanjh walking out of No Entry 2 came out, fans started to speculate if there were any creative differences between him and the makers. Back then, producer Boney Kapoor dismissed the reports and cited date issues as the reason behind his exit.
"Yes, there are date issues, but certainly no creative differences. That is absolutely false. We are trying our best to work the dates out, (sic), Boney Kapoor had told the media.
Adding to the schedule conflict claims, Bazmee told News18 Showsha, "Our last meeting, which was the second time that we met, lasted for 10 minutes. We were discussing his dates because there was a bit of back and forth. He told me that he's trying to work out his dates. Boney ji was also there. Since it's a big film, everything that happens makes news. I'm used to do these things and I don't let such things bother me. Main kabhi safaiyaan nahi deta. Jo hona hai, woh hi hoga aur jo hoga, achcha hi hoga. (I never give clarifications. Whatever is meant to happen, will happen and whatever happens, will be for the best). (sic)"
Heaping praises on the Border 2 actor, Bamee called him a "very honest human being" and "talented". He sated, "Diljit is a very honest human being and he's a very talented actor. In all my life, I've met him for just 20 minutes. The first time I met him was when I went to narrate the script to him. He didn't even listen to the full script. He told me, 'Kahaani samajh aa gayi hai. Aap picture bana rahe hai. Teen heroes hai. Comedy hai. No Entry dekh ke hum kitne hasse hai.' And he instantly agreed to do the film. He's such a simple guy. (sic)"
