Ranveer Singh's Don 3, directed by Farhan Akhtar, has reportedly undergone a major casting change after Kiara Advani announced her first pregnancy with her husband and actor Sidharth Malhotra. Back in March, a Pinkvilla report claimed that Kiara chose to "prioritize her personal life over Farhan Akhtar's Don 3".
This major development came into action days after the actress broke the internet with her pregnancy announcement post. As per reports, Don 3 is expected to go on floors this year.
For those unversed, Kiara and Sidharth announced their pregnancy with a cute joint Instagram post on February 28, 2025, days after celebrating their 2nd wedding anniversary. They captioned their Ig post, "The greatest gift of our lives👼

Amidst the ongoing speculations, National Award-winning Actress Kriti Sanon seems to have just confirmed the rumours of her playing the lead actress opposite Ranveer Singh in Don 3, replacing mom-to-be Kiara Advani.
A video is going viral on the internet, shared by Instant Bollywood, in which Kriti can be seen seemingly blushing after the paps teased her by calling her 'Lady Don'.

In the video, one of the shutterbugs can be heard saying, "Kriti ji, Don 3. Lady Don. Rukiye na yaha pe Lady Don." Kriti's viral reaction has left netizens convinced about her being Don 3's lead actress. However, an official confirmation is still awaited on the same.
Previously, Kriti was spotted outside Excel Entertainment's office in Mumbai. In April, a Pinkvilla report claimed, "Farhan Akhtar and the creative team of Excel Entertainment were looking to cast an experienced actress with a screen presence on board Don 3, and Kriti Sanon fits the bill like hand in glove. She has the aura to play Roma on screen, and is excited to sign the dotted lines soon."
