Eerie Incidents Haunt The Sets Of Kapkapiii: Tusshar Kapoor And His Co-Actors Share Their Spooky Experiences

The trailer of Kapkapiii has been receiving great responses from the audience. The launch event started by mourning the Pahalgam attack and paying tribute to the Indian Army for Operation Sindoor. The film, set to release on May 23 in cinemas
While discussing their experiences during the filming, the cast shared several eerie incidents. Actor Tusshar Kapoor shared his experience, saying, "Oh God, the mic just punched me in the hand. There were a lot of incidents even before I joined the shoot. I was told that many people were sick in the cast, and Shreyas was also sick. So I came with a lot of precautions-bringing a steam inhaler, a mask, and a jacket because it was winter. Thankfully, nothing happened to me. But after watching the film, you'll understand why nothing happened to me."
Varun Pandey said, "I was the one who faced a lot of trouble from signing the project to finishing it. You might have noticed in the movie that my hair is very long, which doesn't look quite right-that's because I kind of got an omen. While we were shooting one of the scenes, my hair actually caught fire, and it was Rajeev, one of the ADs, who put it out from behind. So, if you're wondering why my hair is short now, that's the reason-I took the message seriously.
He continued, "After completing the movie, we had a private screening at Future Studio. As the screening began, there was a scene where a character calls Anamika, and right at that moment, the projector bulb went out. The studio said it was the first time in their history that something like that had happened."
Producer Jayesh Patel added, "Something strange happened again during a screening I arranged for Zee at Sunny Sound. It was the same scene-right when the Anamika scene played, around 25 minutes into the film-the visuals were fine, but the sound suddenly went out. The operator there said, 'I've been doing this for 25 years, and this is the first time I've experienced something like this.' Girish ji was also present at that screening. Adding to the series of unfortunate events, after the shoot, Shreyas suffered a heart attack, which we believe could have been avoided."
Jay Thakkar also recounted a strange incident: "During one of the scenes, the lights suddenly started going off. At first, we thought it was part of the scene, so we continued acting, even though the shot was cut. I had to tell everyone, 'No, the shot has been cut; stop playing with Ouija board. Later, we discovered that the light technician had accidentally stepped on a button, which caused the lights to go out."
Kapkapiii, produced by Bravo Entertainment's Jayesh Patel and Umesh Kumar Bansal and presented by Zee Studios, features a vibrant cast including Sonia Rathee, Siddhi Idnani, Abishek Kumar, Jay Thakkar, Varun Pandey, Dherendra Tiwari, and Dinkar Sharma.
