As CBI has decided to submit a closure report in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, Rhea Chakraborty's lawyer has welcomed the decision. "We are grateful to the CBI for having thoroughly investigated every aspect of the case from all angles and closed the case," he said in a statement.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, The Diplomat has managed to see a hike in numbers and minted Rs 2.35 crores on day 9 (second Saturday). This took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 22.75 crores
