Rajinikanth's Coolie movie was announced as 'Thalaivar 171' in September of 2023. The title was announced in April 2024 and the unit shot in locations around Hyderabad, Chennai, Visakhapatnam, Jaipur, and Bangkok. The movie marks the first collaboration of Rajinikanth with Lokesh Kanagaraj, who gave blockbusters and industry hits with Kamal Haasan and Thalapathy Vijay earlier. The actual release date of superstar Rajinikanth's hyped actioner Coolie is first slated for a summer release in 2025. Going by the information that is coming from the inside sources of Kollywood, the filmmaker is considering postponement of the movie. If their move is true, instead of summer, Coolie movie will release in August, reportedly.

As of now, the total 11 day-nett collection is estimated to be at Rs 30.96 cr.

As per the trade tracker site, Chhaava recorded 18.19% footfalls in morning shows today. To note, the movie had witnessed 17.80% occupancy in morning shows on Monday.
