A case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act has been registered against vlogger Mukesh M. Nair following allegations of inappropriate behavior involving a minor during a recent video shoot, according to a report by Mathrubhumi Online. The incident reportedly took place at a resort in Kovalam during the filming of a content piece that involved several female models, including the minor in question. The complaint, filed by the girl's parents, alleges that the vlogger's conduct during the shoot was inappropriate and made the minor uncomfortable. The complaint further alleges that Mukesh Nair forced the 15-year-old girl to appear semi-nude for the shoot and touched her inappropriately without her consent. A case has also been reportedly registered against the coordinator who brought the minor to the shoot. Authorities have since initiated an investigation into the matter.

The Malayalam film industry finds itself in the spotlight once again, as actress Aparna Johns has come forward in support of fellow actress Vincy Aloshious, who had earlier filed a complaint against actor Shine Tom Chacko alleging inappropriate behavior on the set of the film Soothravakyam. In an interview given to Asianet News, Aparna stated that Shine's behavior on set was disturbing and that his remarks were "sexually suggestive and deeply inappropriate." According to her, the incident caused considerable mental distress during the filming. Aparna revealed that she had also raised the issue with the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) present at the film's set.
