Directed by Shivam Nair, The Diplomat had a Holi 2025 theatrical release yesterday amid a minimum pre-release buzz. According to Sacnilk, the movie opened to a nett box office collection of Rs 4 cr, failing to beat Vedaa's day 1 earnings. To note, John-Sharvari's Vedaa (2024) had opened to a box office collection of around Rs 6.3 cr on Independence Day 2025.
