Ahead of its grand theatrical release, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has asked the makers to trim down Shahid-Pooja's kissing scene by 6 minutes, as reported by Bollywood Hungama. The film has received a ‘UA 16+’ rating and the certified length is 156 minutes and 53 seconds (2 hours, 36 minutes and 53 seconds).

Kriti Sanon is all set to romance Dhanush in his upcoming Bollywood musical romantic-drama 'Tere Ishk Mein'. Directed by Aanand L. Rai, the makers have dropped an intense character video of Kriti joining the cast as 'Mukti'. The film is all set to hit cinemas on 28th November 2025. In the latest update, the Madras High Court dismissed Netflix's appeal to reject the copyright suit filed by Dhanush against Nayanthara in regard to her wedding documentary titled Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairytale. Dhanush's production company, Wunderber Films Private Limited filed a petition requesting permission from the High Court to sue Los Gatos Production Services India LLP, a Mumbai-based company that handles Netflix India content. For those unversed, Dhanush filed a lawsuit for the same demanding a compensation of Rs 10 Crore for Copyright infringement. After the public letter, support poured in for Nayanthara from fellow actresses in Tamil and Malayalam industries.

Reema Kagti's "Superboys of Malegaon" is slated to hit the big screen on February 28, the makers announced on Tuesday. Set in Malegaon, a small town in Maharashtra and inspired by real events, the upcoming film is written by Varun Grover and features Adarsh Gourav, Vineet Kumar Singh, Shashank Arora, and Anuj Singh Duhan in lead roles. According to a press release, "Superboys of Malegaon" will release theatrically in India, the US, the UK, the UAE, Australia and New Zealand. Following its theatrical run, the movie will have its digital debut on Prime Video, it added. "Superboys of Malegaon" is a film based on the life of Nasir Shaikh, an amateur filmmaker from the town of Malegaon.

Pakistani influencer Mathira Khan has been making headlines again after she accused viral internet sensation Chahat Fateh Ali Khan of exploiting her physically after he came on her talk show, 21mm show. A video of Mathira went viral recently where she publicly spoke up about it accusing the self-proclaimed singer of touching her 'inappropriately'. In the viral video, Mathira could be seen visibly uncomfortable as Chahat Fateh Ali Khan hugged and held her hand. Mathira said in the video slamming Chahat that the video was recorded and posted without her consent. Expressing her discomfort, she said, "Being a woman, yes, I was very uncomfortable because I don't do this, I don't hug people. Why did they post it [the video] without my permission? The father of a man who was detained in Chhattisgarh's Durg as a suspect in the case of attack on actor Saif Ali Khan has claimed the police have "ruined" his son's life. Akash Kanojia (31), a driver and resident of Indiranagar chawl at Titwala in Thane district, was detained from a train at Durg station by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) on January 18 after a tip off from Mumbai police, following the attack on Khan by an intruder at his house in the Maharashtra capital on January 16. "The police detained my son without verifying his identity. This mistake has ruined his life. Now, due to the mental trauma, Akash is unable to focus on work or communicate with his family. He has become withdrawn, doesn't talk properly, and has lost all motivation," his father Kailash Kanojia claimed while talking to reporters here on Monday.
