People are waiting to see Akshay, Paresh and Suniel again and we always say that it is easy to make people cry, it is easy to scare people but to make them laugh is very difficult and that too without using double entendre dialogues ..you have to make humour so pure and identifiable. Then, humor also changes, and the taste of the society changes. We have to catch up with that. Characters have gotten older and accordingly people should believe…these are important things. I am taking it as a challenge. Let’s see how it works."

Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran’s highly anticipated Malayalam film L2: Empuraan has been making waves at the box office since its release on March 27. As per industry tracker Sacnilk, the film successfully passed the crucial Monday test, experiencing only a minor dip in collections while adding ₹11 crore to its total. With this, the film's domestic earnings have now reached ₹70 crore. The film's overall Hindi occupancy on Monday stood at 24.6 percent. Footfall statistics revealed that morning shows had an 8.38 percent turnout, while afternoon and evening shows saw a boost with 26.70 percent and 30.18 percent occupancy, respectively. With this upward trend, Sikandar could maintain its momentum in the coming days.
