Masaba Gupta recently revealed that her appearance in Khumaari in Kesari Chapter 2 was inspired by Samantha Ruth Prabhu. She said, "I was very impressed with Samantha Ruth Prabhu's Oo Antava (from Pushpa: The Rise), and I’ve always wanted to do something like that. In fact, when I saw that song, I manifested this number in my head because I wanted to do what Samantha did and I wanted the impact to be similar. I thought the song had such a strong message that it really surpassed being just another item song. If an item song is done tastefully, there’s nothing wrong in being a part of it"

Kesari Chapter 2 director Karan Singh Tyagi recently opened up about the plot of the film, which revolves around the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. In a recent interview, he said that he didn't deviate from the massacre fact, “With full respect and all humility, I want to say that we were compressing a court case which lasted over months into two hours. When that happens, you compress timelines, you combine characters. But we were mindful that we were not deviating from the factual realities of Jallianwala Bagh,” he said.

Just days before celebrating her 25th birthday, popular content creator and influencer Misha Agrawal has tragically passed away. Her family confirmed the heartbreaking news through an emotional statement posted on her official Instagram account on Friday, April 25. “It is with a heavy heart that we share the heartbreaking news of Misha Agrawal’s passing. In a rare and distinguished collaboration, legendary filmmaker Martin Scorsese has come on board as executive producer on Homebound, the highly anticipated new feature from National Award-winning director Neeraj Ghaywan. The film, which stars Ishaan Khatter, Vishal Jethwa, and Janhvi Kapoor, is set to make its world premiere in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, which runs from May 14 to 25.

In the wake of the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, actor Suniel Shetty has called on citizens to plan their next holidays in Kashmir to support tourism and stand strong against terrorism. Ground Zero, starring Emraan Hashmi and Sai Tamhankar, hit theatres on April 25, 2025. On its opening day, the film earned ₹1 crore at the domestic box office, as per early estimates by Sacnilk. The movie recorded an overall Hindi occupancy rate of 8.63% on Friday. It saw the lowest turnout in the morning shows at 4.71%, which gradually improved throughout the day — 8.25% in the afternoon, 7.49% in the evening, and a peak of 14.06% during night shows. Reportedly made on a budget of ₹50 crore, including production, print, and promotional expenses, Ground Zero now hopes to build momentum over the weekend.

On its eighth day in theatres, Kesari 2, directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, earned ₹4.42 crore net at the Indian box office. This figure reflects a 26.29% increase compared to the previous day’s collection of ₹3.5 crore. While the film narrowly missed reaching the ₹50 crore milestone during its first week, it successfully crossed that mark on the first day of Week 2. With this boost, Kesari 2 now holds a total domestic collection of ₹50.52 crore net after an eight-day run.

Following the tragic Pahalgam terror attack, model Ekta Tiwari from Jaunpur has made a shocking claim. She believes she may have unknowingly come in contact with two suspected terrorists involved in the incident. During a recent family trip, two men, now featured in sketches released by security forces—posed as mule handlers and accompanied her group. Ekta returned home just two days before the deadly assault. In an interview, she revealed feeling uneasy about the men’s behaviour, which led her to discreetly film them. The videos she captured may now play a vital role in aiding the ongoing investigation.
