As her two songs from Bandish Bandits 2 received a brilliant response from the audience, Nikhita interacted with Filmibeat and spoke about the response, upcoming projects and a lot more.

1- Both the songs from Bandish Bandits have received an amazing response from the audience. I have to congratulate you for the super success. How are you soaking up the success and adulation from different corners?

Of course, I am enjoying all the lovely, messages, and tags on social media, especially about the way Khaamakha was sung. Actually, a lot of people have taken screenshots from the show, sending it to me and stating that they liked how beautifully it has been performed. Honestly, this is our report card and makes us feel that we are doing the right thing. At the end of the day, we are creating music and art to relate, find beauty and inspiration.

I love it when music translates so beautifully that people feel the need to congratulate you and tell you how much it touched their hearts. I am really grateful to the entire team of Bandish Bandits 2 for making me a part of it.

2- Music plays an important role in the marketing and promotion of a film, web series or TV show. What's your take on it?

We know of so many films that haven't done well in terms of box office or technical numbers but end up being successful because of the music. Music is the easiest and most beautiful way to connect to people. I have sung for films where there is no music but a promotional song. That's how much we love music and it will always remain an integral part of films

3- What one collaboration are you secretly manifesting in 2025?

If it's a secret I cannot tell you. But yes, there are some secrets.

4- Please tell us about your upcoming projects and city tours and concerts.

There are tons of shows that are lined up this year. I will be a part of Boom Box, an IP that has been happening since the past two years. This will be the third season where I have composed a song with Dino James. This will come out in a month or so. There's a surprise for the fans as I am working on independent music, where they will see me get featured in the videos. I have planned a lot of cool stuff that I am sure will strike a chord with the audience. I am also starting a duo which I will drop in the upcoming days. It's hip-hop folk and I am excited because I am not only a singer for it but also a producer and composer.

I produce music as well and you are going to see a different side of me as an artist.
