Yashvardhan Bollywood Debut Updates: Baby Hindi Remake Put On Hold Due To Babil Khan

According to reports, Govinda's 28-year-old son Yashvardhan Ahuja was set to step into the Bollywood film industry as an actor with the Hindi remake of the 2023 coming-of-age romantic-comedy Telugu film titled 'Baby'. Sai Rajesh, who helmed the Telugu original, was in the director's chair for the Hindi remake as well.

Yashvardhan Ahuja and Babil Khan were supposed to play the male leads in this 2-hero film. For those unversed, Anand Deverakonda, Viraj Ashwin and Vaishnavi Chaitanya had featured in the lead roles. Reports claimed, Babil was supposed to reprise Anand's role, while Yashvardhan was roped in for Viraj's character.

However, according to a Peeping Moon report, Yashvardhan's Bollywood debut film has hit a major roadblock due to Babil Khan's fallout with director Sai Rajesh. Following the emotional breakdown viral video controversy, Irrfan Khan's son got into a heated exchange with Sai Rajesh which eventually led to his exit from the film.

"The makers spent nearly six months finalising the female lead, a debutante, and now face the daunting task of recasting the male lead. It's going to take a lot of time. As of now, the production is on hold, with no confirmed timeline for resuming," a source informed the portal.
