Sunita Ahuja's Throwback Comment On Extra Marital Affair Resurfaces Amid Divorce Rumours With Govinda
Ever since Tuesday (yesterday), Bollywood actor Govinda and his wife Sunit Ahuja have been in the headlines over rumours of them getting a divorce. Amid the separation gossip, an old video of Sunita has resurfaced on the internet in which she is seen voicing her opinion on extra-marital affairs.
In the throwback interview with Hauterfly, Sunita Ahuja is seen offering a bold advice to all women, including girlfriends and wives. She is heard saying, as quoted by India.com, "Haath jod ke public mein bolti hoon, ladkio ko aur biwio ko-zindagi mein apne boyfriend aur husband ko yeh mat bolna, 'Mera boyfriend yaa mera kuch karta nahi.' Karega na toh itni buri tarah, sorry for my language, itna buri tarah hugta hai, itni buri jagah hugega na, nikalte-nikalte 2 saal lag jaayenge, lekin vo saali niklegi nahi. Ap life se nikal jaoge, lekin nikalti nahi hai vo item. (sic)"
Did Sunita Ahuja File For Divorce With Govinda 6 Months Back?
Talking to India Today, Govinda's lawyer and actor's family friend Lalit Bindal revealed that Sunita Ahuja had indeed filed for a divorce with the actor 6 months back. Talking about it, the lawyer claimed that there were issues which got resolved later. He further clarified that things are well-settled now and the couple is "going strong".
The lawyer then added, "We also travelled to Nepal during the New Year and performed puja together at Pashupati Nath Mandir. Everything is fine between them now. Such things keep happening between couples, but they are going strong and will always be together. (sic)"
Bindal also claimed that the duo continues to stay together, dismissing the buzz that Govinda and his wife stay in separate apartments. He clarified that the actor had bought the bungalow after becoming an MP for his official purpose, just opposite to the flat they have been staying in since their marriage, where the actor ends up spending the night sometimes after attending a meeting.
