Haq Twitter Review

Taking to the micro-blogging site Twitter, a user gave Haq a 4 star rating and wrote, "#HAQReview: A No-nonsense Courtroom Drama that is grounded with Truthism. #HAQ takes you on a journey where you see both emotions of love and moments of justice. The story takes such a sudden turn that the entire audience is left shocked, wondering what just happened. Seriously a THOUGHT-PROVOKING!!!"

Another user wrote, "#Haq is essentially good cinema..... An important question raised and delivered by superlative performances by @yamigautam and @emraanhashmi . Even newcomer #VartikaSingh delivers a commendable performance. Everything is top notch . please watch it. Good Cinema".

Meanwhile, during a conversation with HT, Yami was quizzed if she was hesitant about taking up the controversial topic, to which she said, "Controversy, debate, discussion - that is not the first thought as an artiste. It's always how I feel after reading the script. Of course, it's the powerful story of a very courageous woman back in the 1980s. Today, there are multiple conversations to express what we want, what can be done to make things better. Back in the day, there was nothing of that sort. That woman did it without the intent of making it controversial, but just to literally do what every mother does for their child. How can she provide the best for her children? I thought Haq was a wonderfully written script".
