According to media reports, Dharmendra, who was earlier hospitalised of facing breathing issues, passed away owing to heart issues and other age related issues. Several celebs were seen rushing to the Pawan Hans crematorium to pay their last respects to Dharmendra. These pics included Dharmendra's happy moments with Hema and their daughter Esha and Ahana. Hema wrote, "I know it is a surfeit of photos but these have not been published and my emotions are unfolding as I see these".

Earlier, Hema had also mounted Dharmendra's demise and wrote, "My personal loss is indescribable and the vacuum created is something that will last through the rest of my life.😢After years of togetherness, I am left with myriad memories to relive the many special moments..."
