The legal dispute between Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal regarding Hera Pheri 3 is known to all. Calling it a 'rightful' exit, Paresh Rawal had already dismissed rumours of creative differences between him and Hera Pheri 3 director Priyadarshan as the reason behind walking out of the film.

Akshay had sent a damage lawsuit of Rs 25 cr through his production house 'Cape Of Good Films' to Paresh Rawal. As per reports, the veteran actor-turned-producer had returned his signing amount with 15% interest. According to Bollywood Hungama, Paresh Rawal's fee for Hera Pheri 3 was estimated to be around Rs 15 cr and his signing amount was Rs 11 lakhs.

Earlier, Paresh Rawal's lawyer made shocking revelations about Hera Pheri 3. He had told TOI, "They did not deliver the story, screenplay or a draft of a long form agreement, which was fundamental to the engagement of our client. In the absence of these and also since Mr Nadiadwala, the producer of the original films, issued notice to our client and raised issues on the making of the film, our client chose to exit and returned the money with interest by terminating the term sheet.First, they accepted the monies, but later, unfortunately, sent an untenable notice to our client when knowingly nothing was and is ready, so there can never be any loss."

After Paresh Rawal's exit, the makers are yet to share any updates on the film. It is still not clear whether they will proceed without Baburao's character or if they will rope in another actor to play Baburao Ganpatrao Apte.

Amid the uncertainty, Akshay Kumar has dropped some major updates on the comic sequel. During an interview with Pinkvilla, Kumar has revealed that things are still in progress and is hoping that everything will turn out well. "Whatever is happening is happening in front of you," he said.

Talking about the film's development, the 'Housefull 5' actor revealed, "Keeping my fingers crossed. I hope everything goes well." Assuring his fans, he added, "Everything will go well only. I know, for sure."

Will Paresh Rawal Return As Baburao In Hera Pheri 3?

There seems to be very little chance of Paresh Rawal returning to Hera Pheri 3. Earlier this month, when a fan requested the actor to rethink his decision and called him the 'hero' of the film, Rawal had replied, "NO ... There are Three Heroes in Hera Pheri . 🙏❤️ (sic)"
