Hera Pheri 3: Johny Lever Reacts To Paresh Rawal's Exit From Akshay's Film & It's Quite Relatable
Paresh Rawal's exit from Hera Pheri 3 has disappointed fans, with Johny Lever urging him to reconsider. The situation involves legal disputes and hopes for resolution.

The departure of Paresh Rawal from the anticipated sequel Hera Pheri 3 has left many fans and members of the film's cast deeply disappointed. Among them, celebrated comedian and actor Johny Lever has voiced his sentiments, highlighting the gap Rawal's exit would leave in the film. Lever, known for his comedic timing and memorable roles, urged Rawal to "reconsider his decision" and mend issues with the production team. He emphasized the importance of Rawal's presence for the film's success, stating, "Mazaa nahi aayega na waisa unke bina. To baat karke solve karlena chahiye, meri nazar mein to yahi sahi hai. (There won't be any fun without him so he should solve the matter, that's what is right in my opinion)."
On May 18, Paresh Rawal announced his withdrawal from the Hera Pheri franchise, sparking widespread speculation among fans. Contrary to rumors, he clarified that his departure was not due to creative differences. Following his announcement, Rawal received a legal notice from Akshay Kumar's Cape of Good Films, which is producing the film, demanding Rs 25 crore. Rawal responded through his lawyer, Ameet Naik, asserting his rightful termination from the project. He expressed confidence that his response would address all concerns.
Johny Lever also shared insights into his own involvement in Hera Pheri 3, revealing with a touch of humor that he has been "threatened" with inclusion in the project. Lever's addition promises to add another layer of comedy to the already beloved series. The original Hera Pheri, which premiered in 2000, starred Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal, earning a place in the hearts of Bollywood fans and becoming a cult classic. Its sequel, Phir Hera Pheri, released six years later, continued the legacy, making the prospect of a third installment highly anticipated among audiences.
Akshay Kumar, when questioned about the legal battle with Rawal during the Housefull 5 trailer launch, chose not to discuss the matter publicly. He acknowledged the seriousness of the situation and indicated that it would be addressed in court, stating, "Whatever it is, I don't think this is the place where I'm going to talk about it. Whatever has to happen, it's a very serious matter. It is a matter that is going to be heard by the court. So I don't think I'm going to speak about it here."
The news of Paresh Rawal's exit from Hera Pheri 3 has indeed caused a stir among the film's fans and its star cast. Johny Lever's emotional plea for Rawal to reconsider his decision reflects the sentiment shared by many who believe the film would not be the same without him. As legal proceedings unfold and discussions about the film's future continue, the hope for a resolution that brings back the beloved character remains high among fans and fellow actors alike.
