The event was attended by Akshay Kumar along with other cast and crew. During the press meet, the actor was asked about his charge for Housefull 5. To this, he wittily replied, "Maine paise liye honge to main tujhe kyu bataunga? Tu mera bhatija lagta hai?"

Akshay further claimed that Housefull 5 is made on a big budget; indeed he charged a good amount for the movie. As per Republic World's report, the actor said, "Maine ache khase paise liye and picture ache khas budget pr bani hai." He then teased the reported saying, "Aaj khushi ka din hai.
