Housefull 5 Controversy: Actress Chitrangda Singh recently addressed the criticism surrounding Housefull 5, particularly its humour and portrayal of women. While acknowledging that some might find the jokes distasteful, she defended the film as a "family entertainer." Singh emphasised that not every movie can be like Airlift, highlighting the diversity in cinematic entertainment.

Singh explained to Zoom, "I feel every film has its own tone and metre of what the dialogues are and what the tone of the film is. This is that kind of film. Then there's Hera Pheri, Golmaal and many more. Every film has its own metre when it comes to humour."

The actress elaborated that films such as Adam Sandler's You Don't Mess with the Zohan and Pink Panther have unique comedic styles. She believes it's unfair to judge all films by a single standard. Singh stated, "Every film can't be an Airlift, and an Airlift can't be a Housefull 5. There are different kinds of entertainment. I am not defending, but this is how I feel."

She further mentioned that audiences might enjoy Housefull 5 more when watched with friends. "Every family also has different dynamics. It is for you to go and find whether you like it or not. Everyone is entitled to have an opinion, I am not defending anything," she added.
