Hrithik Rohan Dhurandhar Review: Actor's Statement Questioning The Politics Triggers Severe Backlash

Last night, Hrithik Roshan took to his Instagram Story to share his thoughts on Dhurandhar. While the actor went all out praising Ranveer's film, his remark about disagreeing with the movie's political undertones didn't sit well with the audience.

"I love cinema, i love people who climb into a vortex and let the story take control, spin them shake them until what they want is purged out of them onto the screen. Dhurandhar is an example of that. Loved the storytelling. It's cinema (sic)," Hrithik wrote in his Insta story.

"I may disagree with the politics of it and argue about the responsibilities us filmmakers should bear as citizens of the world. Nevertheless, can't ignore how i loved and learnt from this one as a student of cinema. Amazing (sic)," he added.

Reacting to the Reddit thread, one of the fans commented, "Did fighter and now have a political issue with dhurandhar lmao." Another user wrote, "Saying this while starring in Fighter is beyond hypocritical lol". "Idisagree with HR here but can respect his view. Though it is a little hypocritical, after doing Fighter, War, War 2, Mission Kashmir, Fiza, Bang Bang and even Lakshya for that matter," one the comments read.

Hrithik Roshan Dhurandhar Controversy: Actor Shares New Post Amid Criticism; Gets Taunted

Now, after receiving massive backlash, Hrithik Roshan has shared a fresh review on Dhurandhar. This time on his Twitter (now 'X') handle. This morning (Dec 11), the actor took to his X handle and tweeted, "Still can't get DHURANDHAR out of my mind.
@AdityaDharFilms

Hrithik's latest Dhuradnhar tweet triggers a fresh wave of criticism. Netizens have been taunting the actor for changing his statement overnight. Reacting to his Tweet, one of the users wrote, "Hritik on Insta: 🤡 Hritik on X: 🦹‍♂️", while another person commented, "What about the politics of the film which you had questioned last night, sir?

To be fair, there was NO demonization of any community or religion in the movie. And there was no factually incorrect info. Dramatization of events yes, but no calumnies."

"What happened to the "politics" of Dhurandhar?😂," a third user asked. "Hrithik on IG: 'I disagree with the politics'

Hrithik on X 48 hrs later: 'Bro the cinema tho 🔥🔥," one of the comments read. Meanwhile, one of the netizens dropped a GIF sticker of one of Sanjay Mishra's iconic dialogues from Golmaal in the comment section that read, "Party badal liya sala (sic)".
