In an interview with ETimes, Bhansali confirmed that there was indeed a special bond between Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai during the shoot. He remarked, "Yes, there was love in the air. But not just between them; there was a lot of affection among all of us. Zohra Sehgalji, Helen Aunty, Salman, Aishwarya, Vikram Gokhale, Smita Jayekar, we were like one big family. I don't think I've had such a fulfilling experience shooting any other film."

Bhansali's Take on Remaking His Films

When asked about remaking "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam," Bhansali expressed his reluctance to revisit his past works. He stated he would not remake any of his films except for "Khamoshi." The director revealed his desire to change the ending of "Khamoshi," which is why he considered remaking it.
