Jaat Actor Prashant Bajaj: Would Love To Play Role Of Virat Kohli In A Biopic

Jaat Actor Prashant Bajaj Would Love To Play Role Of Virat

Actor Prashant Bajaj, who will be seen in Jaat featuring actors Sunny deal and Randeep Hooda, says that he would love to be part of a biopic where he gets to play the role of cricketer Virat Kohli. He adds that it would be a dream come true.

"I would love to play the role of Virat Kohli in a biopic. It would be a dream to bring his journey and personality to life on screen," he says.

Meanwhile, he says that it is difficult to break out of a certain typecast in the industry. "This happens a lot in the industry. If an actor does well in a particular role, people start seeing them only in that kind of role. But I believe an actor should always challenge themselves and try different characters. Versatility is important to keep the audience excited and engaged," he says.

Being part of comedy roles is also an amazing opportunity, he says, "Comedy is an amazing genre, but it is not given as much importance as it should be. Making people laugh is just as difficult as making them cry, yet comic roles often don't get the recognition they deserve. I hope we get to see more comedy films and characters in the future."

Romance, love triangles, thrillers, and murder mysteries are consumed more than any other genre, he says, adding, "These genres are definitely the most popular because they keep the audience hooked. But personally, I enjoy watching comedy and biographical films the most. I love stories that are based on real-life people and their struggles."

He adds, "For me, the biggest satisfaction comes when the audience connects with my character. When people appreciate my performance and say they felt something real, that's when I feel I have done my job well. That feeling is priceless."

He says that it is important to continue to grow as an artist, and have a good chemistry with your co-actors. "I always try to learn and grow. I watch different kinds of performances, observe people in real life, and practice new techniques. I also work on my physical fitness and expressions to make my characters look natural and real on screen," he says, adding, "Chemistry between actors is very important for a scene to look real. If two actors are comfortable with each other, their scenes will look effortless. Off-screen friendships can help, but even if you are not friends, as professionals, you need to create that connection on screen. That's what acting is all about."
