Jacqueline Fernandez Mother's Death: Jacqueline Fernandez's mother Kim Fernandez breathed her last on Monday. The actress' mother has been hospitalized since last month after suffering from a major heart stroke, however, on Sunday, she passed away. Minutes after the news broke out, actress father, Elroy Fernandez could be seen attending the funeral to bid his wife the final adieu. Elroy was spotted wearing white kurta and pajama as he was seen coming out of the crematorium with heavy heart. He didn't interact with the media and straight went into his car. Who Is Elroy Fernandez?

Elroy Fernandez is a Sri Lankan Burgher. He was a musician in Sri Lanka and later moved to Bahrain during civil unrest between Sinhalese and Tamils in 1980s. Elroy met Kim there in 1980s when she was working as a air hostess. They later got married and welcomed four children. Jacqueline Fernandez is the youngest of them all and she one elder sister and two elder brothers. The actress was born and raised in Manama, Bahrain. While Jacqueline's maternal grandparents were Malayasian and Canadian, her great-grandparents are from Goa, India.

After her mother's demise, Jacqueline could be seen hurriedly reaching the crematorium while avoiding the paparazzi. She was seen getting out of the car wearing a white outfit while hiding her face from the camera.

Jacqueline's mother admitted to the hospital after her health complications, and she was fighting for her life in ICU. Meanwhile, the actress also missed performing at IPL 2025 opening ceremony in Guwahati ahead of Kolkata Knight Riders vs Rajasthan Royals Match, "Jacqueline's mother is still in the ICU recovering. As the family awaits further updates from the doctors, Jacqueline has chosen to be by her mother's side and, unfortunately, will be missing performing at the IPL ceremony," a source close to the actress revealed to HT.
