Jarann Trailer Release: Anees Bazmee Presents Spine-Chilling Marathi Thriller Starring Amruta Subhash

Bollywood director Anees Bazmee has unveiled the trailer of his upcoming Marathi presentation - Jarann, a psychological horror thriller film starring National Award-winning actor Amruta Subhash. The trailer launch event, held in Mumbai, was attended by the cast and crew along with big names of bollywood like Jackie Shroff, Anil Sharma, Vikas Bahl, Raj Mehta and Bazmee himself.

At the event, Anees Bazmee expressed his excitement about expanding his horizon into Marathi cinema and backing a bold, unique story that resonates beyond language barriers.

Gadar 2 director Anil Sharma shared, "I liked the trailer very much. Everyone's performance was excellent, and I really appreciated the overall feel of the film. If I had to sum up my reaction in one dialogue-it's a very sincere film. I extend my best wishes to the entire team, to all the actors, and to Anees Bazmee sir, who is presenting it. Shaitaan director Vikas Bahl mentioned, "Oh my God, I think I'll be thinking about it all night. That last shot of Amruta-it's going to haunt me for many, many days to come. I made Shaitaan, but I think this has completely outdone it."

Jugjugg Jeeyo director Raj Mehta added, "I had chills running down my spine. I think everyone should go and watch this film-it's a fantastic story. The performances, the music, the technical aspects, the cinematography-everything is just amazing. Everyone should definitely go and watch it on 5th June. Thank you so much, sir."

With atmospheric visuals and a slow-burning narrative, the trailer hints at a psychological descent layered with social commentary. Subhash's character portrays a nuanced emotional journey, capturing both internalized fear and fierce resilience.

The film also features Anita Date, Kishor Kadam, Jyoti Malashe, Vikram Gaikwad, Rajan Bhise, Avani Joshi, and Seema Deshmukh - each playing a role in unraveling the haunting mystery.

Jarann is directed by Rushikesh Gupte, and produced by Amol Bhagat and Nitin Bhalchandra Kulkarni, with co-production by Manann Dania.

Presented by Anees Bazmee Productions in association with A & N Cinemas LLP and A3 Events & Media Services, and co-produced by Manann Dania Films, Jarann is slated for a theatrical release on June 5, 2025.
