”Jyotiraditya Scindia Consoled Me After I Lost...” Reveals Raghav Chadha at FICCI Young Leaders Summit 2025

In one of the most heartfelt moments at the FICCI Young Leaders Summit 2025 held at Taj Lands End, Mumbai, Member of Parliament Raghav Chadha opened up about his early political setbacks and the support he received from senior leader Jyotiraditya Scindia.

Speaking during a fireside chat Chadha said, "After I lost my first elections and was dejected, it was Jyotiraditya Scindia who consoled me. He told me that its fine and defeat is not the end of the world."

Chadha's candid confession drew applause from the audience, as he reflected on his journey in public life and the emotional side of leadership. The young MP spoke about the lessons failure teaches and how empathy and perseverance define a new generation of leaders.

He added, "his family being a middle class family especially his mother never wanted him to join politics and he had to convince her for 4-5 months to contest for elections".

The session, titled "Leading Change: A Conversation with Raghav Chadha on Vision, Youth & the Future of India," was part of FICCI's Young Leaders Forum (YLF), a platform celebrating dynamic voices shaping India's next decade of leadership and governance in India.
