Interestingly, Kaal Trighori has managed to create a massive buzz, here's the first review of the film.
Kaal Trighori First Review
In a post on social media, actor turned critic Kuldeep Gadhvi wrote, "Kaal Trighori is one of the better horror thrillers in recent times - intelligent, spooky and rooted in Indian mythology. It dares to do something new and even if it stumbles occasionally it never loses it grip". He gave the movie a 4 star rating and stated, "Kaal Trighori 2 hour 39 minutes is a gripping mythological horror thriller that dares to blend ancient curses with modern science and cosmic mystery - and it works more often than not. The film starts with a haunting prologue rooted in dark Indian folklore and slowly drags you into a psychological eerie space where reality and illusion blur".
Kuldeep further emphasised, "Arbaaz Khan delivers one of his most mature performances - calm yet intense, controlled yet unpredictable. His screen presence adds depth to the mysterious professor he plays and his expressions sell the fear and guilt with quiet conviction. Rituparna Sengupta shines in her limited but strong role, balancing elegance with emotional tension. The story is built on an intriguing idea - a rare celestial event triggers a centuries old curse, unleashing terrifying consequences. It's imaginative layered and at times, truly chilling. The screenplay moves between timelines and dimensions with confidence, maintaining suspense while revealing the deeper tragedy behind the curse. There are moments when the pacing dips but the tension always finds its way back"
Meanwhile, during the trailer launch, Arbaaz Khan got candid about his character and stated, "I think it has a lot to do with how Nitin sir envisioned this film and shaped my character - it's unlike anything I've played before. I don't think I've ever really done a proper horror film; some might have turned out horror (laughs), but not intentionally so. What made this project exciting was how well-etched and layered the character is. There are many nuances, and the story keeps you guessing about who the real culprit might be. My character carries that same ambiguity, as do others, keeping the audience constantly on edge."
