Kareena Kapoor Khan humorously describes her relationship with filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali as 'love and war,' expressing anticipation for his upcoming film featuring Vicky Kaushal. Their dynamic has intrigued fans, raising curiosity about a potential collaboration.

Kareena Kapoor Khan recently shared insights into her intriguing relationship with filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. During a conversation with Vicky Kaushal on The Hollywood Reporter, she humorously described their dynamic as 'love and war’. This phrase also happens to be the title of Bhansali's upcoming film featuring Vicky, Ranbir Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt.

In the interview, Kareena expressed her anticipation for Vicky's role in Bhansali's film. She remarked, "I am waiting to see you in the Bhansali film. Of course, he is the Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and Love and War is actually me and Sanjay. You can tell him that. He will understand. We have love and war." Her words were met with laughter from Vicky.

Complex Relationship Dynamics

Vicky playfully inquired if their relationship was currently in a "love" or "war" phase. Kareena responded with a chuckle, saying they are "always fluctuating," which amused both Vicky and fans. Despite never having worked together on a film, Kareena and Bhansali have had several near-collaborations over the years.

Kareena was initially cast in Devdas but was replaced by Aishwarya Rai due to creative differences. Later, she was considered for Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela but opted out, choosing Gori Tere Pyaar Mein instead. Deepika Padukone eventually played Leela, leading to the film's success.

Anticipation Builds Among Fans

The ups and downs between Kareena and Bhansali have left fans wondering if they will ever collaborate on a project. Kareena's recent comments have only intensified this curiosity among audiences eager to see them work together.

Meanwhile, Love & War marks Bhansali's return to epic romantic storytelling. The film reunites him with Ranbir Kapoor after Saawariya while also featuring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in significant roles.
