Kesari Chapter 2 Early Review: Akshay Kumar has been on a roll lately and there are no second thoughts about it. After winning hearts with Sky Force early this year, Akshay is now coming with another release and we can't keep calm about it. We are talking about Kesari Chapter 2 which is a historical courtroom drama. Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi and produced by Dharma Productions, Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh is a spiritual sequel to the 2019 release Kesari. Apart from Akshay, Kesari Chapter 2 also features R Madhavan and Ananya Panday in the lead.

To note, Kesari Chapter 2 is based on the book The Case That Shook The Empire by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat and revolves around advocate C Sankaran Nair and the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Interestingly, Akshay plays the role of advocate C Sankaran Nair while Ananya will be seen as Dilreet Gill and R Madhavan will be seen as Neville McKinley. Rana Daggubati took to social media and was all praises for Kesari Chapter 2. Calling the film incredible, Rana said Kesari Chapter 2 is a must watch. "Just watched an incredible historical courtroom drama - Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh. A powerful, important film that stands tall and stays deep with the Indian in you. Delhi Chief Minister Lauds Kesari Chapter 2

On the other hand, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, who attended the screening of Kesari Chapter 2 recently, stated, "It is a marvellous movie... I always say that we will never get the chance to die for our country, but we can surely live for our country... So many people sacrificed their lives for the freedom of our country and they got lost in history; we don't even know their names. Now when we are living in an independent country, it is our duty to live for our motherland".

This isn't all. Lawyer and politician Charu Pragya tweeted, "Watching the screening of #KesariChapter2, half way though the movie and I didn't even blink in the first half! INCREDIBLE! Take a bow @akshaykumar. Your finest yet! Thank you @HardeepSPuri Sir for organising this." To note, Kesari Chapter 2 will be having a total runtime of 2 hours, 15 minutes, and 6 seconds.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar recalled shooting for Kesari Chapter 2 and stated, "Mostly actors use glycerin for their eyes to cry during film shoot. But, during the (emotional) scene and there is also a song...It is one of the most emotional song I have ever heard. The entire set was crying when we were picturing the whole scene"
