Makers Of Mythological Horror Maa, Starring Kajol, Honour Mothers With Touching Tribute In Film Credits

In a heartfelt and thoughtful gesture, the makers of the mythological horror Maa, Devgn Films and Jio Studios, have honoured the mothers of the entire cast and crew by including their names in the film's official credits. This tribute reflects the emotional core of the film, which is rooted in the theme of motherhood, adding a deeply personal touch to its storytelling.

During the trailer launch of the movie, on being asked Ajay Devgn said,"
I think when we make a film, we every time add our dad's name so this time we thought mothers should get due respect. That is why everyone has their mother's name in their names"

Directed by Vishal Furia and starring Kajol, Indraneil Sengupta, Kherin Sharma, and Ronit Roy, Maa tells the story of a mother who transforms into the goddess Kali to break a demonic curse rooted in fear, blood, and betrayal.

Presented by Jio Studios and Devgn Films, Maa is produced by Ajay Devgn and Jyoti Deshpande, and co-produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak. The film is set for a theatrical release on 27th June 2025.
