Mannara Chopra Dad Funeral: Mannara Chopra is in the news for the most unfortunate reason lately. The actress had lost her father Raman Rai Handa and it is undoubtedly the most difficult time for her. According to media reports, Raman Rai Handa breathed his last at the age of 72 in Mumbai. The media reports suggested that he wasn't keeping well lately and died of age related issues. He is survived by his wife Kamini and daughters Mannara and Mitali.

The news was confirmed by Mannara on social media and wrote, "With profound grief and sorrow we inform the sad demise of our loving father who left us for his heavenly abode on 16/06/2025. He was the pillar of strength for our family". For the uninitiated, Mannara happens to be Priyanka Chopra's first cousin as the Zid actress' mother Kamini Priyanka Chopra's father, and Parineeti Chopra's father are siblings. As condolence messages were in order, Mannara had revealed that the funeral will be taking place in Mumbai on June 18.

Mannara Chopra Gets Emotional During Dad's Funeral

While it has been a difficult time for Mannara, she was seen getting emotional as she bid last adieu to her father. The actress was seen holding on to her sister Mitali as the latter cried inconsolably during dad Raman Rai Handa's cremation.

Priyanka Chopra's Brother Pays A Tribute To Mannara Chopra's Father

To note, Priyanka Chopra's brother Siddharth Chopra was seen attending Ram Rai Handa's funeral and paid his last respects to Mannara's father.

Earlier, Mannara's sister Mitali had spoken up about their family's equation with Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra's family and told Pinkvilla, "I will be honest. We are very close as a family; there's no doubt about it. We are there for each other whenever we need something. All of us are connected, and we are a well-bonded family".
