Actress Who Has Now Turned Sanyas: Once a famous actress, she has now taken sanyas at the Mahakumbh. Born in 1972, this actress never married, despite rumors that she was once wed to Vicky Goswami. When asked about the speculations, she set the record straight, stating, "I'm not married to anyone because I've never had the time for that." She made her Bollywood debut in 1991 with a role in the Tamil film Nanbargal. However, she got a lot of fame after she acted with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. Now, let's see who this actress is:

This actress is Mamta Kulkarni. She was first starred in Bollywood alongside Raaj Kumar and Nana Patekar. Later, she was starred in Karan Arjun, alongside Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. Mamta instantly became famous and every household name after Karan Arjun. After this, she was featured in Kabhie Tum Kabhi Hum, Aashiq Awara, and Baazi.

However, Mamta bid farewell to acting in 2003. Her final appearance in the movies was in a Bengali film Shesh Bongsodhar. Talking about leaving acting career she said to IANS, "The reason for me leaving India was spirituality. In 1996, I got inclined towards spirituality and during that time I met Guru Gagan Giri Maharaj. After his arrival, my interest in spirituality increased following which my penance started. However, I believe that Bollywood gave me a name and also fame. After this, I quit Bollywood too."

Mamta has now officially taken "sanyaas" and has initiated to become a Sadhvi. She took this step after visiting Mahakumbh to Kinnar Akhara on Friday.She took the blessings of Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Dr. Lakshmi Narayan Tripathi and got engaged in meaningful discussion for almost an hour. Several videos of Mamta from Mahakumbh have been circulating online. Talking about her taking sanyas, she said, "Mahadev aur mahakali ka adesh tha, isliye aaj ka din unhone choose kiya, maine kuch nahi kiya."
