Tribute to Maharaja of Patiala

Diljit Dosanjh was seen exuding royalty as he graced Met Gala 2025 and turned it into a royal darbar. He wore an ivory sherwani by Prabal Gurung with gold embroidery and zari with intricate works on cuffs and waist band. While he wore a long cape, Diljit also wore layered neckpieces which had rubies and emeralds in it and completed his look with a diamond studded kalgi on his turban and also carried a lion headed kirpan

Interestingly, Diljit's look was a tribute to Maharaja of Patiala Bhupinder Singh. This isn't all. His necklace, which was made by Golecha's Jewels was inspired by the iconic 1000 Cartier carat necklace of Patiala which was originally commissioned by Maharaja Bhupinder Singh in 1928
