Singer Monali Thakur Hospitalized: Renowned playback singer Monali Thakur, the voice behind several chartbuster songs like 'Sawar Loon', 'Cham Cham', 'Zara Zara Touch Me', 'Moh Moh Ke Dhaage' and 'Badri Ki Dulhania' to name a few, recently faced a health emergency during one of her live shows in West Bengal.

Monali Thakur Hospitalized After Facing Breathing Issues

Singer Monali Thakur recently attended the Dinhata Festival in Cooch Behar, West Bengal for a live show. According to News18 Bangla, the singer started facing breathing issues on stage. She had to leave her live show midway when her health deteriorated.

The singer was rushed to the Dinhata Sub-District Hospital. Later, she was transferred to a private hospital in Cooch Behar. The singer is yet to share her health update.

In December last year, the 39-year-old singer hit headlines after she left her live show abruptly in Varanashi due to mismanagement. The singer called out the event organizers for being "irresponsible and unethical." She further claimed that she could have injured herself on stage while performing with the dancers.

Apologising to her fans for ending the show abruptly, Monali penned a lengthy note on Instagram.

In a video, the singer can be heard saying, as quoted by India Today, "I am disheartened that my team and I were so excited to perform here. Let's not talk about the infrastructure and its condition, as that is the management's responsibility. Time and again, I've said that I could injure my ankle here. My dancers have been telling me to calm down, but everything was a mess. (sic)"
