We're saying so because the talented actor had completed shooting for a much-awaited Bollywood film much before his shocking demise. Well, we're talking about Son Of Sardaar 2. Yes, you read that right!

In a recent interview after Mukul Dev's death, his close friend and Son Of Sardaar co-star Vindu Dara Singh talked about the film's second installment and the late actor's role in it. Talking about the same, Vindu told TOI, "He has done such fantastic work in SOS 2 (Son Of Sardaar 2). He was my Tony and I was his Tito. He had an amazing role and people are going to roll on the floor laughing after seeing his work in July when the film releases. But unfortunately, he will not be around to enjoy the success and see the love."

SON OF SARDAAR 2 RELEASE DATE, CAST UPDATE

For those unaware, Mukul Dev was also a part of the 2012 hit Son Of Sardaar and earned appreciation for his character, Tony. As mentioned by Vindu, the late actor will be seen reprising his character in the spirited sequel. While Son Of Sardaar 2 stars Ajay Devgn and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles, it also features Sanjay Dutt, Juhi Chawla, and Sanjay Mishra among others in pivotal parts.

The much-awaited film is confirmed to hit the theatres on July 25 this year. For countless admirers, Son of Sardaar 2 will be more than just a film - it will be a heartfelt farewell to Mukul Dev.
